Kentucky Green Ribbon Schools Application Process

Participation in Kentucky's Green Ribbon Schools Program is a THREE step process.

The first step will be to complete and submit a "letter of intent" to KDE to indicate your school's desire to submit an application.  Deadline:  February 10, 2012.

The second step will be to complete and submit an application to KDE to demonstrate your school's progress towards the goals of each of the three GRS Pillars.  KDE is using the surveygizmo tool provided by the USDOE.  Deadline:  February 24, 2012.

The third step will be to work with KDE to complete a nomination package provided by the USDOE.  KDE will submit the packages of the three nominated Kentucky schools.  Deadline:  March 22, 2012.

Step 2:  Submit Kentucky's GRS Application online via surveygizmo.

PLEASE NOTE:  the application link above is the correct form to submit even though the url address is labeled "sample".

Step 3:  Complete USDOE GRS package for the 3 school nominees.

(USDOE is awaiting final approval of their nominiation package; a draft is provided for reference.)
