Tech Tip 64 - Outlook AutoFill

Microsoft Outlook has a convenient feature called AutoFill that remembers who you’ve sent e-mails to. This feature was designed to save you time when your send to the same recipients repeatedly. You’ll see this feature when typing recipients into an e-mail message. However, this feature can also cause confusion and errors if it’s not maintained.

 

Turnover occurs, staff members retire and other business changes take place throughout your tenure at KDE. As those changes occur there’s no need to have to look at old e-mail addresses in the AutoFill feature. 

 

KDE Desktop Support has created a step-by-step instruction guide for deleting individual entries out of the AutoFill list on your PC. This step-by-step instruction guide can be found below.
